another picovoli

this time with sleeves, probably to the elbow sleeves but as yet undone. this one is made from tahki tweedy cotton classic which is a dk weight yarn and i'm making it on a larger needle size than the original with fewer decreases to allow for a looser fit in the middle. love it so far and when the sleeves are done i'll be moving on to the as yet un-started somewhat cowl. i'm late starting as usual!

A friend of mine has been wondering how to add sleeves to her picovoli--do you mind sharing?

It looks great!

to add these sleeves...i just kept on increasing to form a raglan sleeve and when it just fit under my arm i put the sleeves on waste yarn and had to do a lettle reclculating to center the stitch holder and strat the decreases for the waist shaping. it worked out great and fits real nice under the arms. you could knit the sleeves on strait needels and seam them or what i did what do the sleeves in th round so they are seamless i used the loop long circ needles thing but dp needles would work too!
