Big (Sexy) Girls

So I must show you my progress on this tank top from the new, yet to be released Big Girl Knits Book by Jillian Moreno and Amy Singer (I got my copy at TNNA in January). The project is called Cherry Bomb. It is a pretty simple tank with a square neckline and some short row shaping for the bust. Here is what I have completed so far. I am using Cascade's Cotton Rich because anything else is too expensive now that the end of the semester draws near and the bank account balance becomes overdrawn.

I have modified the bottom so there is a small slit and a seed st border. Additionally, I ran out of yarn but am incorporating the yellow so that I can finish the top. If any of you out there make something from this book, make sure you have enough yarn, otherwise you end up with dye lot issues as most of you know. I should have known better and asked MLYS to order two bags from the same dye lot but I was so excited to get started that I didn't have the patience to wait.

Anyways, I'll post again when it is complete!
