My first near fatal knitting accident...

Yes, after starting Orangina just last weekend and beginning with a fresh (and my first) Addi Turbo bamboo circular... it broke! I guess I should've known better than to put the glorious needle into my bag, but I'm so upset! I've gotten a replacement so I can continue on my way, but the fushia metal hurts my eyes now... gah. How does one get over the loss of a loved needle?? Oh and you can see a photo of the horrid leftovers in my blog (*hysterical sobbing*).

A moment of silence is in order to remember all the wonderful things that needle knit for you ...

I've actually heard several people say that they had this happen with their Audi Natura's. I guess that the manufacturer sent out a batch that had been glued with bad glue. Take it back to the LYS that you bought it at and get a new one :D

Mine broke and was replaced by Skacel. They were very quick and pleasant about it. You can do that on their web site of at your LYS.

snif! i feel for you. the first nice needles i'd ever bought for myself, my dog ate. (i'd stupidly left my brittany birch #10 straight needles out on the sofa to catch the phone, or take something out of the oven--who remembers?) i lived without for a long time, until i finally let myself replace them with some beautiful lantern moon ebony needles this year. so worth the wait :) (so that's what i do to ease the pain!)
