I love the pattern but I'm a little concerned about the neckline doing a droopy/curly kinda thing. I was considering adding a couple of rows of seed or garter stitch. What do you all think? I'm going to swatch this in a couple of days and see what I think...
Also, what cast on would be best for this?

I'm not sure about adding that so I'd definitely swatch it to see how it looks. I did read one blog where the lady simply seamed a little more length on the shoulder seams to address the drape of the neck. She said it worked for her. As for the cast on, I usually use a long tail myself unless it specifies differently. That's what I learned to knit with and it's nice and elastic.
