Rusted Root Yarn

I am very excited about doing Rusted Root. It has been on my wish list for quite some time, and this Kal helped bring it to the top of the list. As for yarn choice, I really want to try one of the newer yarns like soy or bamboo. But I have never worked with either -- any suggestions?

I used Soy Silk for Wicked and Bamboo for Ms. Marigold. I think they are both nice yarns, but Cotton Fleece is so cheap,it might be nice to go for that this time around. I have pics of my finished Wicked and Ms. Marigold on my blog for 2007 FOs.

I used Madils Eden bamboo for SKB. I love the fiber and will be using it again, probably for Sahara. The bamboo was very smooth and drapey. It reminded me of working with silk. I think it may be a little too drapey for the openwork on RR. I chose to go with a cotton for RR.

Thanks for your comments. I think I will try to use some DB Cotton Cashmere from my stash. And if I make a second one, I will experiment with other fibers :)
