sakura

I've been wanting to post this for awhile, and keep trying to get a good pic of it, but finally gave up today. I finished a sexy knit recently, which I've named "sakura":

Sakura (Japanese kanji: 桜 or 櫻; katakana: サクラ) is the Japanese name for ornamental cherry trees, Prunus serrulata, and their blossoms. ~Wikipedia.
The yarn is baby pink Schoeller-Stahl Fortissima and reminded me of the cherry blossoms from back home in D.C. because of it's softness and colour.

Just thought I should post it ;)

This is beautiful! Reminds this Marylander/DC'er of the cherry blossoms too. What stitch pattern is that? Great job.

Thanks!

It's in "baby fan", a rare shetland lace pattern as far as I can tell.
