I was Tempted

I was tempted to join this KAL because I will be leading one with my Beaded Garden Party Scarf for The Knitting Zone next month and I've never done a knit along. I love the yarn, but it is boring knitting a k1, p1 rib for 15". I dropped down a needle size after 1.5" to take in the waist and torso a little, and will go back up a needle size when I get to the bust. I also have a different neck band in mind. Will post another picture when I get there.

I am interested to hear what you are doing to the neckband as I am going to have to modify mine so it will stay on my shoulders ... I have a 'little' more bust than the creator of the pattern ...

I'm planning on doing a neckband of crocheted and beaded flowers. I'll let you know how it works out.

I'm thinking about adapting the neckline from Audrey - anyone have Rowan 35 sitting around? Tempting and Tempting II are eerily reminiscent of Audrey. in fact I'm going to look at the shaping on Audrey too, probably bring that neckline in a bit so it's not quite so off-the-shoulder.

I like your idea of using different needle sizes for different parts of the sweater. I think I'll be using some bigger needles for the bottom half (my larger half).
