I'm already knitting the Drops Cardigan so if it's chosen I'll add my pics. My other choice, which I might not have time to do, is Bella Paquita.
I'll have to figure how to make my google acct work if I participate.

I thought I wanted to make the Bella Paquita, but after contacting Marnie about how I would need to modify it to fit, and how to make it look like hers on Ravelry ... WAY to much work involved ... WAY TO MUCH!!!

Bella Paquita - I'm interested in seeing how people modify it to stay ON the shoulders.

I think the Chinese Lace Pullover, Military Cardigan, and Snow White are gorgeous patterns that I hadn't seen yet. I think there's some really great choices this knit-around. lol

I'm in the process of joining SKC. My vote is for the military cardigan all the way! I love the detail. I think it will be a really interesting knit and I would wear it all the time. Its gorgeous.

This is the question I sent Marnie about the Bella Paquita:

I love, love, love the pic you have up on Ravelry of this top and I was wondering what modifications you made to it to get it to fit like that. Also, I am an approx 40" chest, but the rest of me is about a size 6, and I have a long torso ... can you suggest a size? And do you think I will need to lengthen the top part to accomodate the empire styling? Any suggestions you can give would be VERY appreciated. TIA! ~ Sherri

    This is what she answered:

Hi Sherri, I simply sewed a dart into the lace to make it lie flat.

As for fitting your shape, you'll have to do a lot of mods. I would work the chest size that will fit you best and then decrease for the torso. Personally, if I were you, I would change the side shaping to body darts. When there is a substantial difference between chest and waist, side shaping can make weird little puckers, while spreading the shaping out over more points, like with body darts, will produce a more tailored appearance.

    Hope that helps, ~m

Probably more than you all wanted/needed to know, but maybe it will help your decisions ...

I just sent in an email to join . . . I'm in love with a lot of the choices! I just hope I'm not in over my head--I just started knitting in August, and am not very quick yet.

Giselle. Oh my god. The versatility of a wrap. I love the romance of it: It could be done in a lace weight mohair (regauged for Rowan kid silk haze?) for a slinky, sexy, diaphanous top. sexy sexy sexy, movement movement movement, va-va-voom!
