needless to say i didnt finish it by then, but i have already completed about 22 inches of lace between the front and back panels (i tried necia's suggestion of working them at the same time, but i got frusterated when it took forever to see any progress--so i switched to working one at a time)
i had a run-in with a gate latch and recieved a painful blood blister on my thumb, causing me to knit slower than usual...but i still hope to have it done by this weekend.
i love the detail of the lace!
