Off kilter

Help! My center cable does not line up. I ended up with the staggered cable row in the middle. I like the fit and don't want to frog the entire thing. I did one, 8 row repeat section for the body and the off center cable is too noticeable. I've mulled this over for a few days and I think my plan is to continue with the upper bodice cable and rib pattern. What do you think?? Feeling a bit depressed by this - but that may be Harry Potter syndrome. - Kellie

It looks like it fits great. You could do the bodice pattern the whole way down or you could just let the 4K rib be you center panel and skip the cable down the middle all together.

Yeah, that definitely looks like it fits great. I agree with Chantel, you could just do the 4K rib all the way down too, or continue the bodice cable rib. Either one would look fine, I think...

You have a nice fit for sure. I had to add an extra stitch under each underarm to center my cable. I did so on the row prior to begining the center panel chart. You could tink back to that row and add as needed...I know tinking is a pain, but sometimes it beats a)total frogging b)an unhappy ending.

I am having the same issue. And I am totally bummed about it. Seriously. I am about to sep the sleeves, but I am thinking about ripping back which just depresses me to no end. I was trusting the pattern. I mean I read the corrections, and nothing for the CO of 120 for this. *sigh*
