Would this work for Sahara?

A very dear friend would like this yarn for the Sahara I promised to knit her for graduation. What do you all think? The yarn is Here!

That's what I purchased to make my Sahara. I'm hoping to start it sometime this week, so I'll keep you posted.

The yarn looks like it might be really heavy. Which could either make it saggy or really hot to wear. I would probably pick a cotton blend so it's a little less heavy....but I haven't knit Sahara.....

A more experienced Sahara knitter could help you out
