How Wicked of Me

Wicked Complete 2Yeah, I made my hubby sleep on the couch so that I could block Wicked. lol I had it pinned down to his side of the bed. hehe It was SO worth it though. Although I was really worried that I might give the sweater too much width, I didn't. I could actually wear it without the shirt underneath, it just looks better that way I think. This is my very first sweater too! It's so awesome, I love raglans...mostly because I hate seaming.

Thanks! I used Cascade 220 in color number 2448. I might have to buy up the last ball to make some matching accessories. The jeans I actually painted myself, just to try something new and fun.

That's your first? You look fantastic in that! I like the shirt underneath also. I'm a relatively new knitter and haven't made a sweater yet, was this a good first?

It's a great first sweater. No seaming, mostly stockinette, all round all the time. The directions are fairly easy to follow, although I am upset that they don't mention that you should pick up stitches for the sleeves and all. I guess they figured it was common sense, but I know plenty of people who wouldn't have thought of it.

Hi! I love your wicked, it turned out really great. I am in the process of making it as well, it is also my first sweater. I read your comment about picking up stitches for the sleeves? Could you give me some direction on that? I'm not sure how many to pick up, or why? Thanks

Shannon
