Ready to knit a Wicked cool sweater?

We're very excited to announce that Wicked is finally Here!
If you're waiting to start.... wait no more! Head on over to Zephyr and nab yourself a copy. We'll check back often to see if you have questions along the way. We can't wait to see all your versions and the yarn you choose to knit with.

FYI: The blue version pictured on the home page was knit with Artyarns Supermarino. It is a great yarn with this pattern and we highly recommend it being that it is also consumer friendly. Happy Knitting!

Already grabbed it :) Thank you so much and my needles are itching to start ;) Just gotta get my wool now - this I will go for Jo Sharp Aran Tweed as it is a local yarn :)

Could you download it Bec? I cannot and now I have exceeded my attempts. I have my mohair waiting to become wicked....

Got it! I didn't know about the laceweight mohair option before and so now I have something to use with my Brooks Farm variegated mohair!!! I'm just going to have to make both patterns now (darn.)

Feedback on the new pattern - thanks for including a schematic. This would even be a worthwhile update to a new release of the Green Gable, IMO.

Ordered the pattern a second time and same error, DH figured out a way around it so now I have pattern..??if you are knitting the whole sweater out of the lace Mohair is there still a need to do collar on a different size needle than body?

Yup Cheryl I could definately download it - glad to hear you could too - nothing like having yarn waiting and being unable to download the pattern!! ;)

OK, perhaps I have misread pattern and pics, is there an option for ALL mohair or is the lilac colored one with long sleeves something other than mohair? The green one is gone now, and I know that was mohair and worsted. I have a ball of worsted similiar in color to mohair so am trying that.

Yipee I grabbed my pattern, had no problems downloading it. Need to go print it off yet! Need to swatch up, will do that later today!

Hey Cheryl, the mohair pattern does call for a worsted weight collar, just as the green one was knit. The lilac version was knit with 100% wool.

OK I am a bit unsure which size to shoot for - I am a 46-46.5" chest and want to layer Wicked as in the pic mainly as well as on its own. Does it accommodate the layering in the pattern or should I go the larger size (48"-50")? Ta :)

How long does it take to receive the download info email after purchasing the pattern? I'm eagerly awaiting it but it's been 30 minutes now and I have to leave the office soon.

Never mind, my paypal went thru as an echeck. Watch out for those echecks if you're impatient like me!
