My stash is running low.
I am definitely going to run out of yarn on my Wicked sweater. I had 7 skeins (640 yards) and I am not going to make it to the bottom ribbing or the pocket. I am knitting a size medium and it is eating up the yarn LOL. I have Because I pulled this out of my stash there is no way of getting the same dye lot. But, I think it will be OK. Hopefully if the pocket and ribbing are slightly off in color no one will really notice. I tried it on today and I am posting a picture (although I have to say I think it looks great in person and scary in the picture). I am happy with the way it fits. I have a 38 inch bust, it is a little snug but I could still slip a t-shirt on under it. I have been following the pattern exactly as written. I think I tried it on at about 6 inches below the arm hole. Sorry for such a bad picture but I thought you would want to see the fit. Well I think my project is on hold until the weekend so I can track down some more yarn. Wish me luck.

Love the colour :) What a shame about the yarn running out :( Although I think the change near the pocket will look pretty funky.
got a question for you: when you say you have a 38" bust, do you mean around the largest part or underneath? (i'm assuming you mean the largest part, but just checking.) i'm trying to decide which size to make, and some pattern makers mean the largest part and some mean the part underneath when they give the measurements for you to choose the size. your fit looks perfect, just like i'll want mine to fit, so i'm trying to judge what to knit!
It is beautiful, mine is still very see through so not sure about a modeled shot, will post after weekend knitting, should be close to casting off bottom by then....I, too, think a slightly different ppocket would be cool, alas mine cannot have a pocket, I was so convinced the long sleeve pic was mohair, dopey me, but I am still loving the sweater and will remake in worsted
Thanks for the feedback. 38" is at the largest part of my bust. My knitted piece is exactly 38" around. Cheryl I am excited to see the mohair. I love the colors you chose. The sample of the green mohair sweater looks like is has a great fit. Yours should be very sexy and I think it could be dressed up or casual easily.
your wicked is looking so great! you've got me worried, tho, with the running out of yarn thing... does the yardage in the pattern include enough for the pocket? it seems the medium calls for 600 yards, but you're running out with 640, without the pocket? eek. now I'm wondering if I should hunt down another ball of yarn too...
Holy cow! Are you a speed knitter, or what? That is looking awesome. Looks like you'll finish way ahead of the official end date. :)
