I've taken the whole thing off the circular needles to test the fit and wow, was that ever scary! This is my first sweater and I'm so afraid of wrecking the whole thing. So far it seems to fit nice and snugly over a thin undershirt which is exactly how I was hoping it would fit. I'm doing this on Paton's Merino Wool in New Denim on #8's. Wish me luck because I'm going to need it!

So far, so good!

That is looking great so far! I wouldn't stress too much if that is what you've done already. The fit looks perfect. Keep it up! :)
Looks really good! Once you've successfully transferred it from the needles to waste yarn to try it on, the rest is a piece of cake.
I agree that process can be scary, but you seem to have to gotten through it without a hitch (unlike me the first time I did that, on the SKB!)
