My SKB

Well, here is what I have of my SKB. I am using Tilli Thomas in Aqua Zing and I love how this fits. It is perfect. I added two inches after the join so that the lace fell in the right place. I also added about 10 extra rows at the end so it would not be too short for me. I think I must have a long torso, because I have to do this with almost everything I knit. I also ran out of both skeins of Rock Star and I haven't even started the sleeves! I wasn't happy about that because I had to order another skein from kpixie.com and it is $38 a skein. Yikes. The remainder of my last skein is sitting on my hand. I am making the long sleeve version. This is going to have to sit until my Rock Star arrives and it is going to drive me crazy!

It does look fab with cap sleeves, huh? I don't want to leave this one that way, but now that you mentioned that, I will probably have knit ANOTHER one in the spring with cap sleeves! Great idea.

it looks wonderful, it fits just like it should. I'm worried about my yarn too :( How many skeins did you use of the pure and simple?

Pixiepurls - I used 1.5 skeins of pure and simple so far. So I have 1.5 left. I think it will be plenty for the sleeves. It better be, or the cost will be way beyond what I expected!

I love your SKB, that's it, I'm going to order some of those gorgeous Tilli Tomas!! I'm usually a purple/mauve person, you inspired me to go with that Aqua Zing. Are you making the XS size? It looks perfect fit on you. I hope mine will turn out to be as nice as yours.

tcknit - I am making an XS. It has turned out to be the perfect fit. I debated between that and the small, but since the TT yarn has a tendency to stretch I felt I would be safer with XS.

I am not a (registered) sexy knitter, but for the record, seeing this top with cap sleeves actually makes me want to knit this. I wasn't going to, but it works really well with the slight sleeves!Great job!
