My new favourite sweater

My Simply Knitted Bodice is done and I love it. After running out of yarn, I was very lucky. I have the most amazing LYS. Mandy who works there heard that I ran out of yarn and sold me her 2 skeins of Malabrigo she bought only the day before but had not started yet. Instead, she got a different color for her project and I was able to finish my sweater with the same dye lot and did not have to order it online. You can imagine how happy I was. The second sleeve was a breeze. It is an amazing design and I will definitely knit it again some day. This time probably with the original deeper neckline. Right now I am happy with how this one came out. The Malabrigo is quite warm (and very soft) so a smaller V- neck will be more practical for a cozy fall sweater.
Now I only need to come up with yarn for Sizzle.

Well, I like your neckline much better than the original deeper neckline. The Original Simply Knitted Bodice's neckline reminds me too much of the Somehow Cowl...

You did a wonderful job on yours though! You almost make me want to make that top! LOL

I said ALMOST though... I skipped that KAL as I didn't either of the tops...

Did you use your malabrigo for the lace part too? Did you go down on the lace needle size more than the pattern stated since it's a thicker yarn? It looks SO SO SO GOOD! I'm a total malabrigo lover, I never even thought of using it for this sweater! Yours looks GREAT!!!

Thank you for all the lovely comments. This was the first time I used Malabrigo and I love it (even though I can see the potential pilling problem). I used it for the whole sweater, including the lace part. I used size 7 needles and size 6 for the lace at the waist where I wanted to add more shaping. I also decreased a few more stitches for the waist when I added the stockinete rows. I made the whole sleeves, including the lace on size 7.

Looks great! What size did you knit? Looks like we are about the same size and I've heard about some sixing problems with this one.
