I get by with a little help from my friends...

So I have cast on for Sizzle in the size S, using Bendigo Mills Harmony (cotton / wool / lycra). I went up a needle size to get gauge but as I'm halfway through the back, I've a strong feeling that it is going to be too large and bagmatic. I'm not convinced I have the mettle to knit it only to try it on and find that it's far too big. Can someone give me some idea of their body size and whether I should rip out and cast on the x-small?

When knitting with cotton, it's best to go tight because it easily stretches. I have a 34" bust with a fairly small upper body and the small in Sizzle was too big. I used a cotton/cashmere blend and it stretched too much. I wish I had knit the x-small. good luck.

Thanks krista! I ended up going down a needle size and a garment size and am very glad that I did!

Good call, I normally wear size S and knit the XS out of cotton and am SO SO SO glad I did! It'll grow a bit after you wear it the first time. Good luck!
