I personally think blogger sucks (no offense to anyone), I have been trying to download pic on mine for over a month and it won't let me....might just be my dial-up connection though.
I would love to know about a better one too!

I use to use blogger, didn't like the functionality of it and moved to Typepad. I have been very, very happy with Typepad. It is easy to use, has great Help tools if you need questions answered, and I never have problems posting pics. Blogger is more simplified if you you want that. Typepad has more versatility so you can control the look of your blog and the layout more easily than you can with blogger. That is my two cents!

I've tried Blogger and Blogspirit, I hated them both. I went to a cheap pay service with Wordpress and I love it. It took me about 3 nights to figure it all out (only because I customized EVERYTHING)and I'll never, ever, ever go back!

i heart typepad. it's extremely rare to have any problems with it, and when i do, the support is excellent. the templates are gorgeous and everything is completely customizable for someone who wants to tinker with that stuff. it isn't free, but once you have an account, you can do everything with it--many blogs, many photo albums, essentially unlimited usage. it's what the pros all seem to use (many redirect to their own domains). fabulous! go to www.typepad.com to check it out--i've been a happy customer since its first release and would never switch!

I'm pretty new at this, but have used Blogger without too much problem. I'm not doing anything fancy, though.

I love me some Typepad! It's easy, fun and did I mention easy?

I have to say, I love blogger, I had some problems with type pad and compatability to my MAC though. I have a broadband connection and very rarley have problems uploading pictures. Blogger doesn't have as many templates as typepad, but if you google to find html templates you can use them (most of them are free too) or if you know how to code even a little bit you wouldn't have any trouble changing your blogger template.

Thanks for your tips! I was thinking about trying typepad, but not sure if I wanted to pay-even though it's only 5 bucks a month. I may try that since I really don't know anyting about coding...

I use blogger and for my limited knowledge of html, it works fine. And the price is right. I haven't had any problems uploading photos, either. There is a great free tutorial on the web for html. I use it all the time.

So far I really like blogger. I tried live journal & typepad and another that I can't remember but didn't think they were as user friendly. Blogger has great tutorials & I've learned alot about html just from messing around. I don't have problems with posting pics or anything else, for that matter. Good luck & have fun!!
