I wanted to post a progress photo to prove that I've been working on Tempting II. I had some real issues with my hands and this project - I think all the movement from the K1P1 ribbing was beginning to give me Carpal tunnel in my right hand (the hand I throw the yarn with). So, I had to pace myself and just do a row or two each day. That really worked, because my hand barely bothers me anymore - regular ole knitting does just fine!
As you can see from the photo, I've decided to knit the sleeves a bit longer to more mimic the sweater I saw in The Devil Wears Prada. Once I get an idea in my mind . . . .kinda like when I decided I wanted to use Koigu for my Clapotis - I had to cast on and knit right then - middle of the night basically! So, these sleeves will be a bit longer (I also knit the next size up from the size sweater I was knitting, since I'll have a shirt underneath and don't want obvious bunching in my sleeves) but other than that, I'm sticking to the pattern and the necline once I get to that point! I should be okay with the end of the month deadline!

Yeah, lots of ribbing- both 1x1 and 2x2 ribbing, cause my wrists to be sore too. Pacing the progress is the key indeed. Looking forward to seeing your tempting done; looks like it's almost there! It will be neat to see it with the longer sleeves. I'm curious about that movie now.
