Finally Finished Fifi!

I felt like this project took forever when in reality it only took a few weeks! This is my first FO posted to this KAL. There were a few tribulations as I got started - I kept losing my spot for the increases and ripped back 3 times. I guess third time is the charm! Specs: 7 balls Elann Esprit (cotton/elastic) in color Peacock Green on #7 circulars. Mods: Worked the cables in the top section all the way down alternated with the plain k4 sections. I moved the plain ribbing down so it began under my bust line (this also made it more 'fitted' for me) and knit the center cable/diagonal ribbing on the front only. I also made the body and sleeves several inches longer so it's more of a regular t-shirt size. This was a fun knit as I had never done cables before and was ecstatic to see how easy and satisfying they are. I want to add them to everything now!

That looks great! I am glad to see that it turned out so well in Elann Esprit - I may need to make another one in that yarn now!

Thanks, everyone! I was a little worried knitting this up as it didn't seem like the cables were as defined as other Fifis but once I tried it on the elastic in the yarn stretched and the cables showed themselves loud and clear. I really like this yarn and it comes in TONS colors. (cheap at 2.49 a skein!)

Okay, NOW I want to make the Fifi! I have always liked knitting cables but the way the pattern hits around the bust didn't do it for me. I like your mods a lot.

Hmmm, now which color...
