I was so excited about knitting Fifi, but I have been slacking big time. I'll work on it for a few days, and then ignore it for a few weeks. Here's its current, sad state:
It doesn't even have a body! So tragic. I haven't touched it for days; I keep getting distracted by other knits, but now those are done and I have no excuse not to work on Fifi again.
Is anybody else slacking? When does this KAL end, anyway? (If someone answers "tomorrow" I will cry. I'm determined to get my Fifi back on the needles and finished!)

Even that the Fifi look great!
LOL! I was at the same place as you are (well, maybe 10 rows further), just 2 days ago. I've been there for a week... Then I went and ordered the yarn for RCC (Noro Hana Silk in emerald/turquoise). So, I had to make myself sit down and work on Fifi, so that hopefully I'll have it finished by the time my RCC yarn arrives. I think I have about 2" inches to go, plus finishing the sleeves.
Btw, your "other knits" are GORGEOUS! I especially like the red one.
I'm in the same boat. I took a diversion from Fifi and knit the One Skein Wonder. I'm a littler farther along--finished 3 repeats of the body pattern, but I am making myself finish this within the next 2 weeks. I've been sitting on the Hana Silk for the RCC for weeks! I just can't start it until I finish Fifi! I get really tired of ribbing. That's part of my problem.
Confession.
My name is Susan and I'm a filthy Fifi slacker too.
(I blame Summer)
I'm a slacker too - I haven't even reached the try-on point yet. I blame babies, three friends are having babies and I've been knitting baby blankets like mad. I'm missing Fifi though, I want to get back to her.
Woooo! Fellow slackers! I blame... giant squirrels. I'm not quite sure how giant squirrels are to blame exactly, but I'll figure something out.
Thanks AliceInDilbertland! I've been shamelessly showing off that red one, because it's my first garment design and I'm just so relieved that it turned out the way it was supposed to!
I slacked on Fifi for a long time, then I just decided I wanted to finish it and got it done in a few days. The good news is, the lower bodice section goes *much* faster b/c of the dramatically reduced number of cables.
I'm worse than all of you. LOL I got through about 22 rows and then DH got all over me about the MASSIVE amount of X-mas knitting that I've committed to and I've put it aside for the time being. It's a great knit and I WILL finish it...right after my MIL's gift, my SIL's gift and my FIL's GF's gift. LOL All of which are lace projects on a fairly large scale. Have I mentioned that I've never done lace before? LOL
