Can't wait to get going!

Hello everyone, very excited about my first ever KAL. I'm going to be knitting Giselle in Debbie Bliss (Angora, cotton mix) in Maroon. I got the yarn for a steal on e-bay; and being the world's most impatient knitter, I'm knitting it on 4mm (all that was available at my LYS) rather than the 3.75 my swatch indicates....so I'm going to knit the next size down with the hope that it'll turn out the right size in the end. Rather nervous about the pattern which is about the most complicated thing I've ever seen!

I've not yet received my yarn (Cascade 220) for Bella Paquita and am still researching yarns for Giselle, so in the meantime finishing up an interior pocket for a felted bag is keeping my fingers busy (and warm, as we've got truly cold weather in these mountains right now!). This will be my first KAL, and I, too, am excited about getting started. I've not done much lace knitting, so this will be quite the challenge.

It's not exactly complicated (except for the lace...I had a tough time re-memorizing the reverse pattern, lol), but Bella *is* a "busy" pattern: there's lots to keep track of knitting the top, but I'm ready to sew the lace on and tack the bottom half with some modifications
