Bella Paquita
Ok, I've gotten started -
The yarn is Wool-Ease and I'm trying to bring the illusion of petals over water. We'll see how it looks.

I've started my Bella Paquita with a wonderful deep periwinkle blue Cascade 220 and am loving how quickly and beautifully the yarn knits. Got a great deal on it on eBay. I'd like to know how many people are doing each sweater--is there a way to conduct a poll?
I am using Cascade 220 superwash in a purple/wine color. Not off to a good start though - I've already frogged twice. 3 times the charm I am hoping. Shayla - do you have a green strand running through it? Will the lace be green then? Very creative!
Yes, there is a green strand. I took the chart and sort of free-handed a "vine" that goes up and around the neck. The lace will be green and the ribbing will be blue (I think). I actually bought the yarn for a different project, but only got halfway done before giving up on it... the colors are just too pretty to leave sitting for long!
I can't wait to see it finished! I was laughing at your miscounting in the other post - remember, I had to start 3 times before I got it right (once I miscounted - how I thought 7 x 9 = 27 instead of 63 - you think I would have noticed that BIG a difference!; the second time I forgot to do the provisional cast on). I don't think I can do this one when I am tired.
