Craving something with a very low back...

Any suggestions? Something that dips down to the waistline, perhaps, or even lower. Maybe with a delicate ribbon or cord that laces to keep it from slipping off completely, or a draped back that highlights the curve of the waist a bit...

Been looking, and coming up with not quite the right stuff...but it sure would be a sexy little knit!

I finished Somewhat Cowl!

This was a great pattern! I didn't have someone that could take a picture of me in my Somewhat Cowl, but here are some pictures. The yarn was perfect for this pattern. I made mine in Blue Sky Alpaca Silk in Amethyst. Beautiful drape, especially after blocking. I would make this again.

I need some advice

I love all of the completed SC's I have seen on here you ladies rock! I decided to knit this for Mom as a Mother's Day surprise. Well, she is going to be in town a week earlier than I thought so I have to knit the entire cowl today (wish me luck). Anyway, to my question...Yesterday I knit both of the sleeves and I have a very weird line where I joined to knit the sleeves, it almost looks as if I knit the last row before the join with larger needles to me... Can Y'all see that? My question is will this even out in blocking? Am I going to have to do some creative stitch tugging to make this less noticeable? any advice short of "its the frog pond for you" cause I just might cry if that is the only solution (thanks alot PMS).
Thanks in advance! Amanda

A few new ones ...

Maisy

Alluring Halter

Model Of The Month

Bella Paquita

My nomination

I would like to nominate the SONATA CREST OF THE WAVE TANK TOP

located at: http://secure.elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=134024

It so sexy, so wonderfully sexy! And it can easily be lined if you're worried about the laciness of it. This is my nomination, any seconds?
I'd like to nominate Mon Petit Chou.

I know there's not really such a thing as "seconding" but since not all nominations make the vote I'd like to add my support for Hush Hush, Shapely Tank/T, and the Corset Pullover.

My Two Cents Worth

I am so happy to officially be a member of the Sexy Knitters Club! I would like to be in the next KAL and these are my choices so far:
1. Shapely tank/tee from White Lies Designs
2. Prosperous Plum Tank
3. Soleil from Knitty
So there we have it!

orangina is on you knit what?? :)

but in a good way! go to http://youknitwhat.blogspot.com/ and see a gorgeous pic of a completed orangina and see what they had to say about it :)

Behind, way behind

I just got an e-mail from Discount Yarn that my Orangina kit is on backorder. I'm destined to be a project behind. Not sexy at all.

Thanks for letting me join! And a nomination too.

Hearing about this group on pointy sticks (and possibly also on Irie knits, as I get not only very behind but also mixed up on my podcasts) I knew I had to find out how to be a member. And how lucky for me that a new knitalong is starting just at the same time!

As soon as I heard the name of this group, I thought how perfect, because I am about to begin a very sexy project which has been on my mental to-do list for quite some time now: the Hush Hush slip from the summer '04 sex-and-the-knitty issue . So this is my nomination for the KAL:

And yes, I admit it's non-busty, but so am I. As I am getting married this September in Sedona, I thought that the promise of wearing this at some point during the wedding weekend was the perfect excuse for me to get this on the needles. The yarn (shine from KnitPicks) is on its way as I type and I will be knitting it 'in secret' while my dh to be is away in San Francisco, which he will be often over the next while as he prepares to take over a new job there (and for us to relocate from Chicago). I will also have plenty of time, once we move in July, as I will be hanging around our new home looking for a break from the onerous tasks of job searching and wedding planning. I had already planned to do this as a kal of one, but it would be fun if it was a group project too.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this club, and for seeing what the final vote is for!

Hello everyone,
I am new to this, so I hope this works. Still trying to figure out how to link, post, etc.
I love the http://www.garnstudio.com
Sooooooooo many patterns. I would like to nominate two on my to do list.
The ridged tank is Drops 81-27
The other is Drops 81-1
Nice cool summer tops?
Lots to choose from in this site.
Which ones are your favs???
Jen

Another nomination

Cleo (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEsummer03/PATTcleo.html)

Another one from knitty. I really like this whimsical halter. According to the pattern, the blessed busty type can alter the fit easily for more coverage.

New KAL nominations

Ok, here are my nominations:

Tempting II from Knitty. I think it's very sexy and flattering. A friend of mine recently made it, adjusting the neck line so that it won't fall off the shoulders (if that bothers you) and it definitely still looks good on a busty woman. Check out Diane's blog to see.

My next nomination is the shapely tank/T from White Lies Designs

It's a simple design, but is flattering and has enormous possibilities for adjustments. You can make it with or without sleeves, as written, or maybe change the hem line to a nice lace pattern? This might be a good chance to get a sexy little summer top, but to try out some of our individual creativity, not only in color and texture, but also in small design changes.

Edit, lol forgot to add the link for the actual patterns :D

Half way there!

Okay, so half way there doesn't sound like much when the time is almost over, but I swear I will finish on time. I was stalled out because I needed to buy the rest of my yarn in order to keep going. Now I have my yarn, I just finished my last final, and i'm going to have a lot of free time to fill (lack of job for three weeks, jeeze!). I'm making the Somewhat Cowl and it has been great, I knit right through that first skien of yarn in no time. I, unfortunately, do not have a picture to post though because I am out of a camera. I will borrow my boyfriend's when I see him next week and make sure to update.

In other, side-note, non-yarn related, news I am starting a quilt block swap (I just whipped up the site today so no comments or sign ups as of yet) for artists of all calling. You can check out all the details at http://quiltblockswap.blogspot.com... The sign up deadline is May 28th!

Oh I am so going to get this sweater done, which is my first sweater ever by the by! Exciting!

Support New Moms!

Hi guys! I want to nominate Lelah. I think we've nominated her before, but she's such a great FREE pattern, and her creator, Christine is a new mom! Stop by and congratulate her!

A nomination ...

I though this was cute & it looks like it would knit up pretty fast, so it could be used as an extra or something ...

Here's another cute, sexy and easy knit:

This is very sweet too:

And this one is HOT!!!:
Sneak Peak Tank

Prosperous Plum Tank

The Prosperous Plum Tank has a beautiful cable-lace design on the front and the back. It is knit in the round with waist shaping and a picot hem. It would work under a jacket for work, too. I am going to make Soleil for The Amazing Lace, a summer lace-knitting KAL, but I'd like to make this one, too. I'd like to nominate it for the next round.

Edit: I guess this one will have to wait for more size options. I'll just put it on my To-Do-Someday list. :)

Soleil

I would like to nominate Soleil from the archives of Knitty.com. If this has been a KAL before my time, I apologize. Soleil

Hello there!

I'm a grad student studying Medieval Lit in Ohio (soon to be Tennessee), and I've been knitting since I was about 6 years old, although not consistently. I'm really more of a Geeky Knitter, a Very Uncool Knitter, or even a Librarian-Lookin' Knitter than a Sexy Knitter, but whatever. To-may-toh, to-mah-toh.

I got a very late start on this (as did lots of the other ladies who have posted recently), but wanted to share anyway.

Yarn: Cotton Soft Speciale Baby by Mondial (in black)
Needles: 3.25 straights
Progress: minimal

I'm about 4-5 inches into my Orangina and it's coming slowly. This is just a busy time of year for me and I don't get many chances to knit. But I should get more free time in a week and then I'll really be able to go to town on this thing.

As always, details on my fussy little blog: Spectacled.

another kal idea

how about changing up a bit...i love this flirty litle skirt from interweave press.
