Tree Jacket finito!

I have finished my Tree Jacket and I am very pleased with it!

This was a nice, fun knit. I am actually thinking of starting Juliet now =).

Chiffon Fifi Is Finished......

Yay!! Fifi is ready to wear! She's actually been finished for a few days, but my photographer was kinda busy. I decided I'd try bribing him with Thai food and magically the camera appeared in his hand! I used just short of 4 balls of Rowan Calmer in Chiffon which I luckily got on sale. Though I haven't knit that many sweaters yet, this is definitely one of my favorites and something I can really see myself wearing. Thanks to everyone for sharing all their progress! You guys really inspired me to get mine finished up :)

More details to come on my blog......

A bit slow on the draw...

Hello everyone!

I'm Sarah, and I'm pretty new to the group. I did lurk for a while before joining.

I've just finished my Rusted Root, and I've started working on Fifi (Calmer in Laurel).

Here's a picture of my started Fifi:

And here's my finished Rusted Root:

See more about them both on my blog:

After redoing the hem and sleeves - going from sleevless, to short-sleeves, Sahara is completed. Pics have been taken and will be uploaded soon. It was great having two patterns on this FO that were fabolous and fun to make.

Sahara on a Blue Moon with Blue Moon

Sahara

All done!

My Rusted Root is finished. Weee!

rustedroot2.jpg

I messed with the pattern quite a lot (the biggest mods were replacing the lace with a cable and combining two sizes to keep the sleeves poofy). All the info and more pics here.

Another finished Rusted Root!

I'm very happy with how it turned-out!

Like many others, I didn't get super-poofy sleeves, but I'm okay with that. I did make a couple modifications -- I made a size between the XS and S, and added extra waist decreases (and spaced them farther apart).

Rusted Root finished and loved much last week.

I finished my Rusted Root over a week ago. It was a really quick knit. I made some changes so that it would suit my preferences. Check out all the dets on my blog.

I am going to be starting on Sahara in the next week or two using some Blue Moon bling around the neckline.

Wearing my new top!

I must say that I'm extremely pleased with the way my rusted root fits. Ok and yeah I still didn't weave in the ends but I will. I finally got a pic today so here it is!

I'm soooo making another one (or two!) of these.

Rusted Root Done!!!

Wow what a fast knit. Even having to frog and start over. Here is a pic, I still have to weave in ends and take a pic of it on. But it's done!!! I love it too, it's perfect and I can see myself making more of these. I saw someone do it in red and I loooved it, so that might be the color I choose next time. Next up...Sahara!

Rusted Root Finished

So I was able to finish my Rusted Root last week at the two week mark exactly. This was a great knit project and I love that everyone has been so sweet and complimentary on the outcome. I will be making Sahara after I complete my Fitted Knits project. I already have some yarn in mind, so this should be great! I must admit that not being able to post on here for awhile was painful. I really missed you guys. lol. At any rate, I'm glad we're back without the blog problems.

Eiffel finished

I love my new sweater. I am so shocked that it finished so quickly compared to my Wicked. I guess that accounts for one being lace weight and the other more of a worsted weight. Wicked was starting to make me doubt my speed in knitting.

See why I have short sleeves over at my blog.

Yeah I finished both before the KAL finished!

Mohair Wicked finished

I finished this yesterday. It is really warm and light. It is great on a cold night even with just a tank under it. Check out my changes on my blog.
