I am having a little trouble switching to a new ball, even though I read the recommendations some of you posted. It just doesn't blend in right... but its not bugging me enough to frog it.

Slow going
This is slow going for me since I can only do a little at a time due to time constraints lately, but I thought I'd show a progress pic.

I am having a little trouble switching to a new ball, even though I read the recommendations some of you posted. It just doesn't blend in right... but its not bugging me enough to frog it.

Love the color of your yarn!!!
I'm using the Knitpicks shine in Cream... I love the color, too!
I actually switched to a new ball again last night atnd was able to make it blend in pretty well.... I knit the two strands together for a few sts, and then the next row I wrapped the yarn around the working thread and carried it in back (does that make sense?). It looks much better now. I made it to the decrease rounds, yay!
The first few times I changed yarn it does not look that great. Then I did what Melissa is describing for the rest of the sweater and it is much better. I still have a few tiny holes where I did the final increase holes and I must have done something wrong! I am hoping after washing and blocking, they won't show as much!! Cotton seems to show everything so much more!!
