I've joined recently and have chosen the SC for my first kal ever. I've started last weekend and so far it's looking good (I think). I couldn't find any of the suggested yarns here in Portugal, and was too impatient to wait for an online order, so I'm using a local yarn brand (Agata ?) - a blend of cotton - which I hope is suitable.

ReplyDeleteHi, yes I've made them myself when I discovered the other day that I didn't own a single stitch marker and needed 4 to start the SC ... anyway, they're very easy to make, if you'd like to know how just drop me an e-mail
ReplyDeleteI agree with the stitch markers and the green is such a nice cool shade--like cucumbers. Portugal--what a great country and such yummy patries, madeira....
