It wears well, and I really like the weight, drape, and sheen of this yarn. I will have to take progress photos to show you, but it's working out just fine and I've picked up to knit the fronts now. Gonna work on it more during Sex in the City in about 10 minutes!!!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03059733453547758995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18928997.post-33251459819435202832007-04-30T18:14:00.000-07:002007-04-30T18:14:00.000-07:00Goshen by Valley yarns from Webs....in purple haze...Goshen by Valley yarns from Webs....in purple haze. I've crocheted with it before but this is the first time to knit. It can still be a bit pricey but you can get it quite a bit cheaper on ebay with Cucumber Patch or Janette's Rare Yarns. Both are great sellers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18928997.post-17037057160760346202007-04-30T04:37:00.000-07:002007-04-30T04:37:00.000-07:00kozy: Great Big Sea? How cute; I'd almost use that for the name alone!

I'm using Silky Tweed, knit slightly tighter than recommended by the label. It's a sportweight, but you can just knit a few sizes up so that it ends up the right size. It's great, very reasonably priced yarn.ChiaLeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12042780566665377056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18928997.post-43932412818775933292007-04-29T21:04:00.000-07:002007-04-29T21:04:00.000-07:00I'm using Handmaiden's Great Big Sea yarn for my S...I'm using Handmaiden's Great Big Sea yarn for my Sahara and I absolutely love it. I think it is the nicest yarn I've used so far! It's not for the budget minded though. You might want to look at KnitPicks Shine worsted which is a cotton blend. I've heard nice things about that yarn. I've used Classic Elite's Premier which is very similar and I simply love that yarn. It is extremely soft and easy to work with. Sahara is a great pattern to work with.Kozy Kittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02879487549061873933noreply@blogger.com
