Just the sweater I was about to nomimate! I think the pattern is simple but would be a fun knit and would be pretty in so many colours. Perfect project for fall!
See, this is the problem. Zephyr makes patterns for such cute stuff that I always get almost sucked into buying them and knitting away but their proportions have been way off on the patterns I've done.
I think they design their patterns for XS or S people and so by the time they just mathematically increase the number of stitches you need to do whatever for L or XL based on bust size all the proportions are off. Maybe it's me but just because I have a larger bust doesn't mean that I have fat arms, etc. Has anyone else had these problems?
Carissa - I just re-read your post & I am a 40" bust with a size 6 body and I haven't had any trouble with the Zephyr patterns, maybe you just need to play with the sizes a bit, or email the girls at Zephyr, they are SUPER helpful.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of this too. I love the Zephyr patterns and this one was on my list anyways. It is very cute!
ReplyDeleteLove this one too! I recommend a joint Zephyr Style KAL - Tree Jacket and Juliet!

I second Robin's idea of a joint Zephyr Style KAL with Tree Jacket and Juliet. I just bought both of the patterns and plan to knit them this fall.
ReplyDeleteyou took the nomination right out of my mouth!
ReplyDeleteI've frogged it a couple times already, so it certainly gets my vote - lol.
