My Wicked is done! After much, much frogging (thank you kind fellow-SKC KALers for helping face facts and frog) I am finished and almost totally happy. I love the sweater design, but like many others who have used the same yarn (KnitPicks Andean Silk) I find my sweater rather itchy. It was a joy to knit with, but I need to find a layering suitable shirt to wear underneath. I plan to make another Wicked as soon as a few other items in my queue are taken care of and will make it long-sleeve (this one, for yardage reasons, is 3/4 length). I had great fun in this, my first, KAL. Thanks!
It looks great and good for you for sticking through it! You must be a super fast knitter too! Wow!
ReplyDeleteNow see, it is worth it in the end, right!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comments! By the way, the secret to my speed? A) I only frogged back to mid-yoke and B) I get one day a week that is "Mommy's day out" -- it is amazing what a quite 6 hours sans my 1 and 2 year olds can do!
