How am I doing?

I know it looks like I haven't accomplished much since my last post, but I've finally reached the point where I begin the lace. As you can see, I tried on my SKB after finishing the purl ridges. I am concerned that the waist detail will be too loose because the purl ridges hang a bit loosely; there is about 1/2 inch of space between the knitting and my body all the way around. Does that mean the SKB will be too big? (Please say no!). Although the shoulders and arm holes seem perfect, I'm wondering if I should've made the XS size because I have a small waist. If the purl ridges should've fit more snugly could I fix it by frogging back to the decreases and decreasing 7 more stitches? I will hate having to do that, but I really want this to fit right. If any of you encountered this same issue I'd be really grateful for your input. Thanks!

I think you may be happier if you do the extra decreases because it doesn't sound like you want that much ease... That would be the easiest way to fix it with the least amount of ripping back:)

I think you should fix it now so you'll be happy with it ... others have mentioned that they wished they'd have knitted a size smaller too ...
