I hadn't really looked at the pattern for Tubey before b/c I have to be honest - I didn't like the colors they used for the stripes. However, I just looked at it and I do agree it would be a fun knit and like the design and their suggested yarn. I would just be boring and knit it in one color.

ReplyDeleteNow to fill my shopping cart at KnitPicks with various colors of Andean Silk... Oh, who am I kidding, I've had the yarn picked out for weeks already.
By the way - you can do it in solid too, like Robin mentioned, or just a few stripes, etc. Or do the body in one color and the shrug in another.
I also second this nomination- it's an easy and unique knit. I've done it before in Lopi and would love to do it agin in a lighter weight.
