Orangina Ribbing

So, a long train trip this weekend has definitely benefited my Orangina. I have found though that my ribbing on the needles that I used for the lace was just far too wide -- seemed like it would drape instead of stretch. So I went down a size, and I'm knitting the ribbing on Size 2s... anyone else finding this to be an issue? Am I going to be sad that I went down a size in the end?

Wow! That looks great!!! I don't think I had to go down a needle size for my ribbing and it seems fine, but yours looks good too!

  2. It looks great! I went down a size for my ribbing and I probably could have even gone down another because it was still a bit droopy.

That looks fabulous. I love it. I might consider making another one, like yours, which doesn't require a cami underneath, but not sure yet. I'm going to be doing ribbing swatches within the next few days, I have a feeling I'm going to go down too.

  4. I'm probably going to go down a size on my ribbing, too. I know cotton has a tendency to get a mite saggy, so it seems like a good idea. And yours looks gorgeous!

  6. Did you check out Stefanie Japel's blog, Glampyre knits? She posted a picture of a reader's Orangina, and she also recommended going down a needle size for the ribbing. After reading your comments, I think I'll do the same.
