What better way to represent? PLus, if you're not a fan of the eyelash/Muppet skin yarn, I'm sure there are other usable luxury yarns that can be substituted.
Yes, it was, and I was the knitter of the award-winning garment (and have been recognized as The Queen of Fug in my LYS!). I do not wish to knit that dreadful thing again - sorry to anyone who thinks it's cute, but I can say from experience that it's not.
